The joy of teaching is apparent in Cynthia Moyers’ infectious smile. Highly regarded for creating “outside the box” activities and memorable learning experiences for children, Cynthia is equally well known as a detail oriented early childhood educator with a very positive attitude and upbeat disposition. When parents pick up their child at the end of the day, they appreciate that Cynthia always makes time to tell them a story about what their child did in school that day.
Since joining Celebree in 2013, Cynthia has become a mentor for new teachers, and is happy to pitch-in when other teachers can use a hand with designing an activity or creating a new lesson plan. In addition to being the lead teacher for our Preschool B (3 and 4 year olds), Cynthia recently took on the role of “curriculum champ” for our two Kindergarten Readiness programs.
Cynthia is a Dean’s List graduate of Towson University, where she also stood out as a member of Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honors Society. Having spent years as a babysitter and nanny, followed by an internship in a Head Start program, Cynthia knew from her teenage years that she was destined to be an early childhood educator.
In her spare time, the Federal Hill resident enjoys yoga and DIY home crafts.
