On Friday, February 7th, with the Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in Sochi just hours away, parents and children in Bear took time to cheer Team USA. on to victory. Red, white, and blue cupcakes were served to honor Team USA.
School-age children from the Hot Spots program pitched in by decorating take home bags parents could pack with a red (Swedish fish) and white (marshmallow) sweet treat to enjoy while watching the ceremonies.
The decorated take home bags were the hit of the day – a true gold medal winner!
