I have been with Celebree Schools since June 2019 and hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach Infants/Toddlers, Preschool, and School-Age programs, as well as serve as a Director. My certifications include First Aid & CPR, Breastfeeding, Emergency Preparedness, Medication Administration, and Developmental Screening.
I chose to work with children because they are the future, and I want to play a part in helping to shape a better world for the next generation. A fun fact about me is that I have lived in three different states and even overseas. I’m also a proud mother of two, Sydney and Alex, and have been married to my husband, Brian, since 2001.
Being a part of the Support Center Team is incredibly fulfilling, and I’m committed to providing an exceptional experience for both parents and children in our schools every day!
Hello my name is Donna, School Director at Celebree School of Annapolis. I’m proud to have devoted my life to Early Childhood Education, having been in the field for over 40 years now. My passion for early education runs deep; it is such a privilege to be able to make a difference in young lives and teach them core skills and values that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. I have an associate’s degree in Health & Science and have earned certifications in: Medication Administration, Developmental Screening, Health, Safety, & Nutrition, Emergency Disaster Preparedness, and Including All Children and the ADA. I am always looking to grow my expertise and knowledge in the early childhood education field, which is why I’m currently pursuing my Level 5 certification with the Maryland Child Care Credential Program, Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
It’s so important that each child trusts that they are in a safe, open, welcoming space in order for them to learn and succeed. I work hard to make sure Celebree is one of those places, a space for children to learn, explore, and discover while developing a lifelong love of learning. I believe that, when given the opportunity, children can achieve anything they set their minds to, and our job as educators is to provide them with the tools, skills, and values they need for them to reach their fullest potential.
I promise to provide exceptional family and child experience each and every day. I truly believe in Celebree’s mission statement, “We Grow People Big and Small,” and I’m proud to work for a company that not only believes in growing the children, but also our incredible staff.
