Let’s launch their lifelong love of learning together. Contact us to visit Celebree School of Ellicott City!
I have been working with Celebree School since 2019. I started my journey with Celebree as a director and am currently serving as a District Director. Before joining Celebree, I spent several years working with the military as a program director for their Child Development Centers. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University and have accumulated over 20 years of experience, working in various roles such as a teacher, director, and manager in different educational programs across the country.
I remain committed to advocating for Early Childhood Education as a thought leader and active member of several organizations. In my role as a District Director, I collaborate with our leadership team to ensure that the Celebree difference is brought to each school. I thoroughly enjoy working alongside ECE leaders, teachers, and families. One of my key responsibilities is to uphold our promise of “Grow People Big” by nurturing and developing our current school leaders. My passion lies in elevating our schools to guarantee an exceptional parent and child experience every day.
Hi, I’m Anita, School Director at Celebree School of Ellicott City. I’ve dedicated my life to early education, having been in the field since I was a senior in high school. I have an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood and a Bachelor’s from Georgia Southern University in Child and Family Development. I’m passionate about early childhood education because of the very real opportunity to make an impact on young lives and influence future generations. Watching children learn and understand a new topic or skill is priceless, and it is so special to know that I played a part in helping them achieve that moment of pride.
In my personal life, I have 4 amazing kids who all attend Celebree: Logan, Joseph, Gabby, and Anthony. I love to make bows for my daughter and recently started experimenting with sublimation, which is a version of printmaking!
I chose a career with Celebree because of the overwhelming support and opportunities that were offered to me from day one. I knew it was a place where I could “Grow Big”, and over the years I’ve worked my way from PreK teacher, to School Support Manager, to Assistant Director, and up to my current position as Director. I’m proud to have been awarded Assistant Director of the Year in 2022! Having this title was a huge accomplishment for me and has really helped me grow into an effective coach in developing my teachers and helping them see their potential. My goal is to support my staff in any way I can, helping them actualize that potential and grow with Celebree in the same way I did. Welcome to our school!
