Over the holidays, parents, teachers, and children donated canned goods and dry food items for those in our community who are in need.
On January 20th, in keeping with the spirit of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, school age children at the Forest Hill center brought the food to a local food pantry. While at the food pantry, students went on a guided tour to see how the entire process works. The children agreed, learning about the importance of food pantries was a very constructive way to spend a day off from school.
