Our “Out of This World” theme will transport campers beyond the stars, introducing them to the wonders of space exploration, the mysteries of the universe, and the science behind celestial bodies. Each week will focus on a unique aspect of space, keeping children engaged with fresh and exciting content.
Over 11 weeks, campers will dive into topics that make science and space exploration come alive:
Week 1 – Blast Off: Campers will learn about rockets, space travel, and what it takes to launch into the great unknown.
Week 2 – Astronaut Adventures: Children will train like real astronauts, learning about the challenges of living and working in space.
Week 3 – Moon Mission: A deep dive into the history of lunar exploration and the possibilities of future moon landings.
Week 4 – Alien Invasion: Imaginative and creative fun exploring extraterrestrial life and what it might be like on other planets.
Week 5 – Stars and Constellations: Learning to identify constellations and the myths and science behind them.
Week 6 – Planetary Explorers: A hands-on journey through our solar system and beyond.
Week 7 – Black Holes and Galaxies: Exploring the mysteries of black holes, galaxies, and the expanding universe.
Week 8 – Asteroids, Comets, and Meteors: Investigating celestial objects and their impact on our solar system.
Week 9 – Mission to Mars: Campers will imagine life on Mars and learn about space technology that could make colonization possible.
Week 10 – The Future of Space Exploration: A look at upcoming space missions, technology, and the potential for deep-space travel.
Week 11 – 2026 Preview: A sneak peek into next year’s summer camp adventures, ensuring the excitement never stops.
This variety keeps campers engaged and excited, making every week an opportunity to explore, create, and expand their knowledge of the universe.
Active Learning Beyond the Classroom
Our summer camp is designed for children ages 6 to 12, as well as younger campers who have completed a full year of a kindergarten program. Every child will take part in activities that align with our weekly themes, attend off-site field trips, and have the opportunity to go swimming. These experiences allow children to stay active while reinforcing the exciting space topics they are learning about.
For our youngest explorers, we also offer a preschool summer camp for children ages 2 to 5. This program features age-appropriate summer projects, hands-on-themed lessons, and on-site field trips that introduce little learners to the excitement of space and exploration in a way that is fun and engaging.
