Our 2025 summer camp is designed to take children on an intergalactic journey where they will explore the wonders of space while staying active, engaged, and having fun. A Universe of Discovery Awaits
This summer, our campers will blast off on a space-themed adventure where the mysteries of the cosmos fuel their curiosity. Over the course of 11 weeks, children will engage in immersive lessons, creative activities, and off-site field trips that reinforce each week’s exciting theme. Whether they are exploring distant planets, training like astronauts, or learning about the wonders of black holes, every day will be filled with new discoveries.
Our Out of This World summer is divided into the following themed weeks:
Week 1 – Blast Off: Campers will kick off their space adventure with an introduction to the wonders of the universe.
Week 2 – Astronaut Adventures: Children will train like real astronauts and learn about life in space.
Week 3 – Moon Mission: The focus will be on lunar exploration and the historic moon landings.
Week 4: Alien Invasion: Campers will use their imaginations to create and learn about extraterrestrial life.
Week 5 – Stars and Constellations: This week will focus on the breathtaking beauty of stars and the stories behind constellations.
Week 6 – Planetary Explorers: Children will journey through the solar system, discovering the unique features of each planet.
Week 7 – Black Holes and Galaxies: Campers will explore some of the most mysterious and fascinating parts of space.
Week 8 – Asteroids, Comets, and Meteors: A deep dive into celestial bodies that travel through our solar system.
Week 9 – Mission to Mars: Future space travelers will imagine what it would be like to visit the red planet.
Week 10 – The Future of Space Exploration: Campers will learn about upcoming space missions and technology.
Week 11 – 2026 Preview: A glimpse into next year’s adventures, keeping the excitement going.
Engaging Activities for Every Camper
At Celebree School of Mt. Airy, we believe summer camp should be more than just fun—it should be a time for children to learn, stay active, and develop new skills. Our program is open to children ages 6 to 12, as well as younger campers who have completed a full year of kindergarten. Each day is filled with hands-on activities that align with the weekly theme, making learning an exciting and immersive experience.
Campers will participate in interactive lessons, creative projects, and off-site field trips that bring the wonders of space to life. Swimming opportunities provide a great way to cool off and stay active, while engaging group activities encourage teamwork and friendship.
For younger children, we also offer a preschool summer camp for ages 2 to 5. This program includes fun summer projects, hands-on-themed lessons, and on-site field trips designed to spark curiosity and creativity in an age-appropriate setting.
