Josephine & Edward Johnson are the owner-operators of Celebree School of Reston. Josephine grew up in Nairobi Kenya and came to the United States in 2008 to pursue a doctorate degree in Economics at Fordham University in NY. Edward was born in Washington DC, grew up in Hawaii and moved to Virginia to work in the United States Patent Office, as a patent attorney after graduating with a law degree from Northwestern University in Illinois. Josephine, Edward and their three children, Pearl, Andrew and Joshua, live in Ashburn VA.
Josephine & Edward are actively involved in all operations of Celebree School of Reston and are committed to using the skills from their professional background to serve the community of Reston as a place to “protect, educate and nurture”. Josephine is a trained teacher and has taught Economics and Finance to undergraduate and graduate students. She has also worked as an economist and finance and private sector consultant. Edward has over 20 years of experience in intellectual property and is a primary patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
Josephine & Edward are excited to have the opportunity to provide the very best early childhood experiences for children and can attest to the value of top-notch childcare and the positive impact it has on children and families in molding the attitudes and characters of children.
In their free time, Josephine & Edward enjoy traveling, watching sports, visiting with family and spending time with their children.
My name is Rebecca Nolasco, and I am thrilled to be joining your team as the Assistant Director at Celebree School of Reston. I am originally from Fredericksburg, VA, and I am the youngest of eight children, with six brothers and one sister. Being part of such a large family, along with having 15 nieces and nephews, naturally sparked my love for children from an early age. I am also a proud mother of an 11-year-old boy. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, playing board games, listening to music, and being near the water.
I bring both experience and education to my role in early childhood education. I served as a Lead Infant Teacher for eight years and hold an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Virginia Community College. I am currently in my final semester at Liberty University, where I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
I am very much looking forward to building strong relationships with the families here at Celebree and providing the best possible support to the teachers and children.
