Hi, I’m Kim Brown, the School Director at Celebree School in Tulsa Oklahoma, where we are dedicated to “Growing People Big and Small.” With nearly 30 years of devoted service in the field of early childhood education, I have had the privilege of positively impacting the lives of countless children, families and educators.
From a young age, I discovered my calling in working with children, a passion that has only grown stronger through the years. My journey in early education began as an enthusiastic early childhood teacher which evolved into various leadership roles. This path has been marked by my unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds, fostering their growth, and supporting their unique developmental journeys. I hold an Associate Degree in Early Childhood and consider myself a lifetime learner.
Throughout my career, I have been devoted to not only shaping young minds but also mentoring and guiding educators. I take pride in fostering a supportive environment where teachers can thrive and further their own professional development. My focus on educator development ensures that our team is equipped with the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional education to every child, every day.
I believe in the power of partnership and collaborate closely with families and teachers to ensure each child, regardless of age receives a personalized and enriching educational experience that focuses on the whole child. My leadership is characterized by a genuine love for my work and a deep understanding of the pivotal role that early education plays in a child’s life.
My husband Joe and I have been married for 29 years. We recognized very early in our marriage that we were both very passionate about fostering and adoption. In 2014 we became a certified foster family and through that experience, our family grew from a family of 5 to a family of 8 upon the adoption of our three youngest children.
As a proud mother of six, I bring a wealth of personal experience and empathy to my professional role. I understand both the joys and challenges of parenting. My ability to relate to parents and children on a personal level, coupled with my dedication to supporting and developing our teaching staff, sets me apart and underscores my effectiveness as an educator and leader.
My career is a testament to my dedication, expertise, and heartfelt commitment to the field of early education. At Celebree School, I continue to champion the cause of growing confident, capable, and happy children, one developmental milestone at a time.
