I have been with Celebree Schools since June 2019 and hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach Infants/Toddlers, Preschool, and School-Age programs, as well as serve as a Director. My certifications include First Aid & CPR, Breastfeeding, Emergency Preparedness, Medication Administration, and Developmental Screening.
I chose to work with children because they are the future, and I want to play a part in helping to shape a better world for the next generation. A fun fact about me is that I have lived in three different states and even overseas. I’m also a proud mother of two, Sydney and Alex, and have been married to my husband, Brian, since 2001.
Being a part of the Support Center Team is incredibly fulfilling, and I’m committed to providing an exceptional experience for both parents and children in our schools every day!
I am a proud member of the Celebree School family as the Acting School Director Waverly Woods. My home is in Eldersburg, where I reside with my husband, three children, and our adorable pug, Remi. My academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations, with a minor in Psychology, which I earned from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Over the past 10 years, I have dedicated myself to the childcare field, primarily as a Preschool/Pre-K teacher. However, when the opportunity arose to transition into an administration role, I couldn’t contain my excitement. While working in the classroom, I cherished nurturing and witnessing the growth of our little ones. But now, I am eager to utilize all the knowledge I’ve gained over the years to support and guide teachers on their journey to professional growth.
The Celebree motto, “We grow people big and small,” resonates deeply with me, as it aligns perfectly with the philosophy that has driven my entire career. I relish the daily interactions with the children, forming strong bonds with each of them. Additionally, I take great joy in building personal connections with every family in our care. As I’ve come to know my teachers, a special bond has developed with each of them, and I am enthusiastic about assisting them in reaching their full potential and achieving remarkable growth.
My driving goal is that when families step through our doors, they are reassured that their children are receiving abundant love and care every single day. Our school is a place where every child can thrive, and I am dedicated to creating an environment that fosters their development and happiness.
